Documentary Screening

PRAI was thrilled to be involved in three screenings of the riveting new documentary, My Kid Is Not Crazy, including the Virginia Film Festival in Charlottesville this November(2017).

Legislative Advocacy

PRAI played a pivotal role in passing HB 2404 and recruiting leaders from across the state of Virginia to serve on the expert counsel that reports to the Virginia Commission on Health.

Education

PRAI has presented on the topic of PANS &l PANDAS for ABA therapists, school nurses, educators, Speech and OT therapists, social workers and medical professionals across Virginia and the Carolinas.

Media

PRAI has raised awareness of neuroimmune disorders throughout Virginia and the Carolinas by securing media attention byt well-known media outlets including: the front page of Richmond Times Dispatch, Richmond Magazine, Richmond Family Magazine, Smartie Pants, Fox News Charlotte, Channel 12 News Richmond and featured in a new film by Project Just Like You.

Research

PRAI continues to recruit leaders in the field of neuroimmunology, neurology transfusion medicine and infectious disease to it's Scientific Advisory Board to guide our research investments.
