Our third annual PRAI 5K is for anyone wanting to run, walk, or crawl their way to the finish line!

The PRAI 5k is our third annual community fundraiser dedicated to raising funds for research and education into PANS & PANDAS; A childhood neuroimmune disorder that is estimated to effect as 1 in 200 children. This year we look forward to a fun Mascot Run right before the Kids Fast Dash across the football field with some of Richmond's favorite mascots including Nutzy, Parker, Kickeroo, Joey from Launch, Elsa and Star Wars Characters!

Course Details

The PRAI 5k and Kids Fast Dash will be held at Bon Secours Redskins Training Center in historic Richmond, VA. The course is pretty flat and easy to navigate around the field.

Race Results: full results will be posted on commonwealthtiming.net within hours following the event.

  • Can I bring strollers?

    Yes. This is a family friendly event. You may walk or run with strollers.

  • May we bring pets?

    No. Due to safety concerns, there are no animals allowed on the course.

  • Where can we park?

    Plenty of space is available at Bon Secours Redskins Training Field parking lot.

  • What are the timeline of the events?

    Day of Registration: 7:00am

    PRAI 5k: 9:00am

    Awards Ceremony: 9:30am

    Kids Fun Run: 10:00am

    Event Concludes: 11:30am

    Yes, a friend or family member may pick up your packet on race day or day before, with ID and previous notification.

  • Where do I pick up my race packet?

    Race packet pickup will be located in Carytown at Sandbox from 12pm-6pm. 3007 West Cary Street, Richmond VA (Next to World of Mirth on the corner of Sheppard and Cary).

  • Are walkers allowed in the 5K race?

    Yes, the course venue is wide roads and we welcome all walkers to come out and join the race.

  • How long is the kids fun run? What ages would you recommend?

    The Kids Fun run will be across the Redskins Field. The runners will not be near any traffic. We suggest it be for children 8 and under.

  • Does the event have a rain date?

    No. The event will be held Saturday, September 21st rain or shine.

  • Can I get a refund of my race entry fee?

    We regret we cannot refund registration fees or transfer race registrations from one runner to another.
